Giving back to the community has been a passion of Mike and his family. Currently, Mike volunteers his time as President of the Well Child Center (WCC).  Through Mike’s leadership, the WCC analysed each program to determine the most effective use of resources, developing strategic alliances and partnering with other agencies to strengthen the WCC financially and position it to serve the community for years to come.  This year he will also serve as President of the Rotary Club of Elgin. His community involvement also includes support of the Sherman Hospital Men’s Alliance, YMCA, Community Crisis Center, Boys and Girl’s Club and Easter Seals. It is Mike’s deep devotion to the Elgin Community that has inspired him to run for public office.
